Africa Travel Advisory

Due to the ongoing Ebola outbreak in portions of Africa, University-related travel to Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) remains suspended until further notice. This suspension undergoes periodic review, and should the situation change will be updated accordingly.

For individuals returning to campus or a University global location from affected regions, follow current U.S. Government and Centers for Disease Control (CDC ) guidance for travelers returning from Ebola-Affected Areas . If symptoms develop, seek medical guidance immediately and avoid coming to campus or a University location until medically evaluated.

Campus Safety's Global Safety & Security team is dedicated to supporting the University's commitment to internationalization and associated initiatives. These activities, including but not limited to research, engagement, study abroad, service, and recruitment, expand Notre Dame's international engagement and presence, with recognition and understanding that these enriching experiences may come with increased health, safety, and security risks.

• advising and promoting risk mitigation services and best practices
• responding to emergencies abroad
