Claudia Correa Hernández is the associate director for student affairs and administration at the University of Notre Dame's Santiago location.

She facilitates the integration of the ND students into the Santiago programs, through different immersion components, such as the homestays housing and the pre-study session. She develops and coordinates the numerous cultural trips, activities, service opportunities and experiences available for students in Santiago. Her main goal is to promote the well-being of ND students during their time abroad in accordance with the Notre Dame spirit and the aims of ND Santiago. Claudia is also responsible for managing administrative, financial, and logistic aspects of Notre Dame Santiago.

Claudia joined ND Santiago in May 2021, initially as Student Life & Program Coordinator.

She previously (2009-2020) worked as Teach in Chile and Student Life coordinator for the CIEE (Council for International Exchange Education), so she has been involved in international and intercultural education for fifteen years.

Claudia holds a Master of Arts in English Language Teaching from Universidad de los Andes and a Bachelor’s degree in English Linguistics and Literature from Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She also holds a diploma in the teaching of Spanish as a second language. Her areas of expertise are language acquisition, literature, intercultural learning and global engagement.
