Regan Jones

Regan Jones is the Senior Director for Notre Dame Global and a member of the Global Leadership Team. He advises University leadership on international enterprise activities, managing risk and compliance, communications, technology, safety, and facilities across Notre Dame’s 12 global locations.

As a Term Assistant Teaching Professor, Regan teaches leadership in entrepreneurship at Notre Dame’s IDEA Center, helping students develop self-awareness and teamwork skills.

Previously, he held multiple roles in the Office of the Provost, leading strategic initiatives. Before joining the University, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps, managing multi-site operations, multi-million-dollar projects, and international partnerships. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after working with academia, industry, and government on national security challenges.

Regan, his wife Mary, and their three children are active community volunteers. He previously served on the YMCA of Greater Michiana’s board and coaches youth sports.

A former Division I athlete, Regan holds a Political Science degree from the University at Albany and an MBA from Florida State University. He is a George W. Bush Institute Leadership Program graduate and a 2024-2025 NACUBO Fellow.
