Norbert Pletka

Norbert Pletka joined Notre Dame London as a caretaker at Fischer Hall in 2010. He has since held several roles, and today is the Assistant Director and London Facilities Manager. In this role, Norbert Pletka leads the London team of facilities staff, cleaning operatives, and security personnel. Norbert is responsible for the operation and maintenance of building systems and services, involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises, ensuring buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.

Norbert graduated with a degree in civil engineering and holds several health and safety qualifications, including NEBOSH, fire safety, and risk management.

Born in Hungary, Norbert has lived in England for most of his adult life. In his time off, Norbert enjoys taking part in all sorts of outdoor activities with his family.
