When to use Crisis24

Pre-Departure Planning

  • Research your destination by browsing country guides and alerts (medical and security) via the Notre Dame member portal.
  • Call the University’s dedicated hotline (+1 (443) 569-8607) if you have questions on staying healthy and safe while abroad.
  • Download the Crisis24 Horizon mobile application to receive medical and security push alerts and access country location intelligence and advice sheets. PLEASE NOTE: You must create a profile using your Notre Dame email and associated credentials.

While Abroad

  • In a life threatening situation, always call the local emergency number first. Review the U.S. State Department’s global "911" list. If you’re unsure whether local emergency services can be trusted or can provide adequate care, then your first point of contact should be Crisis24.
  • Whether minor or serious, Crisis24 is available to help you 24/7 during and after a medical, mental health, or security incident abroad. Call the University’s dedicated line (+1 (443) 569-8607) or start a chat or phone call from the Crisis24 Horizon mobile application.
