Through this jointly funded program both the University of Notre Dame (Notre Dame) and Tel Aviv University (TAU) are inviting proposals for joint research projects with the potential to achieve international recognition and to generate continued external research funds for both partners. Project selection for the TAU-Notre Dame Joint Research Projects Program will be competitive and made jointly by Notre Dame and TAU.

There may be the ability to leverage off the capacity of the University of Notre Dame in Jerusalem (Tantur campus and the Notre Dame Jerusalem team) thus establishing a stronger link between the universities on the ground.
