Hesburgh Lecture Series: A Pilgrimage to Life's Beginnings

Hesburgh Lecture Series
Inspired by the late Rev. Theodore Hesburgh’s legacy of lifelong learning, the Hesburgh Lecture Series has brought University faculty to Notre Dame clubs and their local communities since 1986. Hesburgh Lectures are free and open to the public and serve as an opportunity for Notre Dame clubs to share a piece of the Notre Dame campus and academic experience with alumni and friends in their communities.
Hesburgh Lectures are intended to showcase the depth and breadth of Notre Dame’s academic expertise and teaching. Each year through the series, the association presents faculty who are outstanding researchers and excellent teachers to share their specialized knowledge and scholarly perspectives with a diverse adult audience. Lecturers and topics reflect the values of Notre Dame and can foster constructive and fruitful dialogue among members of the Notre Dame family.
Often held in partnership with other local organizations throughout the United States and abroad, Hesburgh Lectures encourage dialogue and intellectual engagement among alumni, community members, and faculty.
More information for Notre Dame clubs can be found on the club intranet, Clubhub.
